This photobook explores the near future, where high fashion absorbs contrasting elements like "elderly fashion" and anti-fashion. Using plastic and fashion as symbols of human desire, it suggests that as reason suppresses desire, "elderly fashion" (reason) will eventually replace "high fashion" (desire).
Born in 1994, Yutaro Saito graduated from Doshisha University with a degree in Global and Regional Studies. In 2021, he began creating fashion and consumer culture photography, self-published "20’s STREET STYLE JOURNAL," and participated in the Tokyo Art Book Fair. He has worked with fashion brands globally and currently writes articles for Fashionsnap.com.
